Description
As a Custodian - 1st Period, you will play a key role in keeping plant operations running smoothly by maintaining clean, safe, and professional workspaces across critical facility areas. This is a hands-on opportunity to support power generation and plant operations while working as part of a collaborative, safety-focused team. This position will be assigned to either a day or night shift based on operational needs and has not yet been finalized.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of custodial cleaning for offices, restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, control rooms, turbine decks, and meeting rooms using the appropriate tools and equipment.
- Ensure assigned areas are consistently stocked with necessary supplies so employees can focus on safe, efficient operations.
- Perform routine inspections, submit work requests, communicate concerns to supervision, and maintain a clean, organized work area while following all Warehouse Department and AECI policies.
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or GED and at least one year of custodial or related experience.
- Ability to pass required pre-employment testing and work safely in an industrial environment.
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn and grow technical knowledge.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and readiness to work the assigned shift as part of a team.
