Position Description
Provide engineering support of power plant projects at Colstrip Power Plant.
- Support Environmental Remediation projects at the plant.

Support Plant Environmental Engineering group with projects.

Support Project Team and Scheduler on project's Primavera schedule.

Attend internal and external project meetings with Talen Leadership, project team, plant staff, contractors, and vendors.

Support Project Management team with collection of information and preparation of project status update reports.

Basic Qualifications

Must be enrolled in Civil Engineering program or closely related engineering program.

Must be enrolled on a full-time basis (12 semester hours).

Must possess an acceptable overall (cumulative) grade point average, no lower than a 2.5.

Must be able to work in a team environment.

Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Must have demonstrated leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred to have past internship experience
Preferred to be rising Junior or Senior.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Must possess mobility to work in:

Standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail, despite interruptions, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen for long period of time. Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone.
