Working closely with other HR partners in the fossil division, the successful candidate will perform a broad range of human resources services, as well as collaborate with other Talen field HR teams and Corporate HR to provide seamless coordinated support and foster strong relationships across Talen Energy as a whole.
This is an on-site position based at Talen's power plants in Baltimore, Maryland, with occasional travel to Talen facilities in Pennsylvania.
Summary of Areas of Responsibility

Build relationships with the power plant teams and foster effective employee relations.

HRIS employee transactions and reporting.

Compensation, salary and benefits programs field delivery/support.

Full life-cycle recruiting of hourly and salaried positions; assuring positive candidate experience.

Provide consult on all areas of HR to leadership and individuals.

Effectively interface with cross-functional, cross-division organizations within Talen Energy.

Support performance management programs, training and development, and succession planning efforts.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR or a related discipline

8+ years progressive HR experience

PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification preferred
