Summary
Determine and prioritize which jobs will be kitted or filled internally or externally. Has direct interaction with suppliers and vendors to determine needs. Maintains appropriate inventory levels. Determine what work will be performed by contractors. Ensures areas are environmentally compliant. Ensures environmental and governmental records are completed timely and filed according to regulations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Directly or through others, the incumbent:
- Accurately complete, file, and maintain required governmental , SOX, and environmental data
- Ensures appropriate inventory levels.
- Supports daily replenishments by creating PRs and tracking POs
- Facilitates and maintains regulatory records
- Ensures daily, weekly, and monthly required tasks are accomplished
- Ensures the accuracy of all monthly meters, transformers, poles, capacitors and store's inventory.
- Facilitates and ensures the accuracy of the rubber goods inventory and ensures the correct rotation of dated stock
- Facilitates and maintains the chemical inventory in the SDS and GHS systems
- Must be able to set up and maintain storm restoration staging areas
- Facilitates and insures the accuracy of the Veeder-Root fuel environmental system and the accompanying records
- Facilitates material and inventory correction as notified through FIM reporting
- Must have an expertise in Stores Maximo
- Must have the ability to operate from multiple locations
- Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements
- Ensures daily yard walk and forklift inspection has been completed by assigned personnel.
- Ensures all areas are environmentally compliant.
- Ensure all W/R's are reconciled prior to closing.
- Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements
- Kits material for projects and inventory replenishment for distribution.
Education, Experience, & Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Five years experience in stores and a minimum two years of experience working in an Oncor storeroom environment.
- Must be proficient with the MS Office suite including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Must be proficient in the use of stores Maximo.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Safety Handbook.
- Must be proficient in the use of the Veeder-Root fuel system.
- Must be forklift operation certified.
- 2+ years of Supply Chain related experience
- Experience and Understanding of Maximo and Velocity
- AA, AS, BA/BS in Supply Chain or Logistics is preferred

- Properly maintains inventory controls and budgetary constraints.

- Demonstrates awareness of conditions that affect employee and or public safety.
- Ensure performance indicators, targets, and goals are met
- Tracks and Maintains Inventory health
- Kit accuracy, application and appropriateness of requested material, and inventory accuracy
- Effective and professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders
