As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you play a key role in industrial energy transition projects. You support energy consultants during feasibility studies and are responsible for the design and engineering of medium- and high-voltage electrical installations.
You will work on projects such as:
- Grid reinforcement projects for industrial clients.
- Transitioning industrial clients from the distribution grid to the transmission grid.
- Connecting large renewable energy projects (solar parks, wind farms, BESS) to the high-voltage network.
Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting concept studies and feasibility assessments.
- Translating client requirements into basic and detailed designs.
- Preparing EPC tender packages and technical specifications.
- Leading and coordinating the design team.
- Acting as the main technical point of contact for clients.
- Supporting project execution in collaboration with project managers, designers, and site managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Strong understanding of medium- and high-voltage electrical systems.
- Electrical engineering and design capabilities.
- Project coordination and technical leadership.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into engineering solutions.
- Commercial awareness and ability to identify business opportunities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Team player with an innovative and creative mindset.
- Ability to think outside the box and solve complex technical challenges.
- Fluent communication in English and either Dutch or French.
