Acting as a trusted advisor, you will partner with leaders to embed compliance into day-to-day operations, enhance program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.

Job Description:
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise governance and compliance frameworks.
- Partner with business units to embed governance, compliance, and sustainability considerations into operations and initiatives.
- Oversee the corporate privacy program, providing guidance, education, and advisory support to stakeholders.
- Monitor regulatory developments, industry trends, and best practices and recommend program enhancements.
- Lead compliance risk assessments and support the development and execution of mitigation strategies.
- Establish and manage monitoring and reporting frameworks to assess program performance and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present compliance reports for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Manage policy governance processes and support compliance activities related to regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field plus a minimum of seven years of experience in governance, compliance, or privacy.
- An equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience with data analytics is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, risk management principles, and compliance practices.
- Experience working in a regulated environment, with utility or energy experience considered an asset.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus across diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and present to senior audiences
Important Information:
- Permanent, full-time role.
- Monday - Friday schedule.
- Hybrid role, with opportunity to work 2 days per week from home.
- Based out of our Calgary office location.
- This role will be moving to our Airdrie office location in 2027.
- Some light travel will be required for the role (<5%).
