Primary Purpose
This position provides comprehensive physical security oversight to protect employees, facilities, and assets by implementing compliant security programs, investigating incidents, maintaining security systems, and coordinating response to emergencies and threats.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identifies efficiencies and resolves system problems to ensure compliance with applicable industry standards.
- Aligns physical security initiatives with cybersecurity protocols to support integrated, enterprise-wide protection strategies.
- Conducts ongoing functionality testing of technical security systems to ensure proper coverage and operation.
- Deploys physical security infrastructure, including barriers and centralized monitoring systems, to enhance facility protection and situational awareness.
- Participates in security audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory security standards.
- Monitors and reports unauthorized attempts to enter secure facilities to site contacts for action and timely response.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Typically requires a 4-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience
- Typically requires 5 years of related experience.

- Business Continuity Planning - Develop internal infrastructure to ensure organizational resilience and maintenance of the availability, stability and integrity of critical systems, processes and stakeholders that support and drive key aspects of the business. This includes the planning, designing and testing contingency plans and setting up of internal systems and structures which are ready to respond to potential threats and maintain desired levels of continuity.
