Description
This is a hybrid role, with on-site work at the Tucson, Arizona Headquarters or one of the Company's Operations facilities required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at a minimum.
What you will do
- Provide technical expertise in air quality regulatory programs to support resource planning, the Company's business/operational units and to implement the Company's Environmental Compliance Programs.
- Support environmental policy advocacy efforts on behalf of the Company and the expansion of renewable, energy storage, and fossil fuel resources from an environmental compliance/permitting perspective.
- Provide technical subject matter expertise with the opportunity to mentor others while collaborating across departments.
What you bring
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent education and experience.
- Six or more years of professional work experience.
- Significant experience in environmental compliance, permitting, and policy advocacy related to electric utility industry air quality matters.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills such as collaborative, problem identification and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in electric or gas utility industry is highly preferred.
