Become an Information Technology Change Management, Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you'll be responsible for supporting Digital Grid Services, Change Management responsibilities as a Senior Specialist. You will support the influx of ongoing Change Management with planning, coordinating and risk review for the numerous changes that the team manages. The changes span the entire spectrum of IT services including Data Networking, Telecom Networking, Access Control/Common Services, Applications, Data Center Infrastructure. You'll partner and collaborate with multiple internal and external support staff, including IT vendors, Operations, Engineering, Application, Cybersecurity and T&D support units. As necessary, you'll convene multiple stakeholders to determine the best work window for some changes. Additionally, as required you will participate in problem review meetings to help with root cause analysis of IT impacting events. Responsibilities

  • Executes change management process for medium to high complexity requests

  • Manages project plans and planning with clients and stakeholders

  • Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate and implement changes

  • Review and improve compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies related to change management at the enterprise level

  • Develop and monitor change management KPIs and metrics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement

  • Oversees the formal communication process to report on status of planned and unplanned outage notifications for critical systems and applications

  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • Possesses five or more years of experience in IT technologies including networking, telecommunications, data center, or other related technologies 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) Certification in one of the various disciplines.

  • Experience working in a multi-transactional or a multi-platform IT environment.
