The IT Enterprise Architect designs and implements cloud solutions that align with the IT strategy and facilitate technology transformation. Their expertise in cloud technologies and best practices is critical for working with other IT technology domain architects to formulate technology strategy and reference architecture, as well as assisting the business through the cloud transformation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud strategy development and implementation for scalable and agile product delivery.
- Design and implement cloud architectures that align with IT strategy and business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define cloud strategies and technology roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices and technologies.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud solutions.
- Conduct assessments and audits of existing cloud environments to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with peer enterprise architects on technology transformation initiatives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Minimum Requirements ((Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, with a focus on cloud transformation and innovation.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale technology transformations and driving enterprise-wide cloud strategies.
- Deep expertise in cloud computing, AI/ML, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated experience as a Cloud Enterprise Architect.
- Experience with enterprise-wide digital transformation and cloud migration within large organizations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in cloud strategic planning, architecture design, and implementation.
- Extensive expertise and practical knowledge in cloud security, networking, and storage solutions.
- Experience with serverless architecture and container orchestration platforms.
- Knowledge in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, AI/ML solutions, enterprise system integration, and DevSecOps.
- Experience ensuring compliance with government regulations.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Cisco Certified Network Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills.
