Job Description
At PSE we look to the Advisor App Developer role is to estimate, plan, drive and own the project team daily activities and delivery timelines. Our expectation is that you define a healthy balance of supporting the team through servant leadership, and writing exemplary SQL, C#, Java, .Net, HTML, HTML5 and JavaScript (Node, Angular, React, Next) code. You'll act as a full-stack software engineering subject matter expert on an Agile delivery team, collaborating with product owners, UX, SD's and your team to deliver business value on an iterative basis. Additionally, you'll help shape the future of the team by mentoring junior members to drive excellence in engineering as a cohesive, efficient, and productive team unit. Your vision is our mission.

Job Responsibilities
Ensures that end-to-end custom software applications are designed, developed, tested, and released with highly-scalability and maintainability principles.
Ensures delivery of high-quality software through clean coding practices, test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration, and code reviews.
Enables optimum team efficiency by thinking across team responsibilities to identify which policies/processes provide delivery optimization and which do not.
Provides leadership, technical direction, and architectural input into product vision and roadmap development.
Continuously builds technical knowledge and improves our ability to deliver quality solutions, evolving our engineering process and technical capabilities.
Influences technology maturity and innovation across departments and upwards in the department.
Provides guidance to business and functional units in developing tests and training plans and materials.
Interprets internal/external business challenges and with assistance from architects and other principal level engineers, recommends integration of the appropriate systems, applications and technology to provide a fully functional solution to a business problem.
Works effectively with teams and stakeholders in a remote hybrid working environment (occasional Bothell, WA office visits will be required to support team cohesion and organizational activities).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years IT experience, including several years of systems development experience in the design and development of department-wide or enterprise-wide applications.
- Detailed understanding and 8+ years programming (specialized technical requirements as shown in attachment) and strong knowledge of office applications (e.g. Microsoft Office).
- Experience with at least four full life cycle implementations of a new application or purchased application.
- Possesses full technical knowledge of phases of software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of systems and/or business analysis design concepts. Demonstrated proficiency in the applied use of systems and process analysis tools. Full system life cycle experience, including development lifecycle methodologies.
- Ability to facilitate interactive design and functional specification sessions.
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Excellent technical writing and system documentation skills.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and conceptual skills.
- Demonstrated project management skills for medium to large-sized projects.
- Must be a "team player" able to work with management in developing and implementing new processes and enabling systems. Able to work with end user groups to define application needs and identify feasible solutions.
- Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and a customer-focused service attitude.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to meet objectives and effectively multi-task.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.
Desired Qualifications
Strong foundational understanding of AWS capabilities and use.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of AWS (or other cloud) development and release practices.
An analytical approach to problem-solving, coupled with the ability to conceptualize systems.
Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Excellent technical writing and system documentation skills.
Experience with and ability to easily navigate through SQL Server.
Experience with and ability to easily navigate through Microsoft Windows Server.
Working understanding of a headless CMS architecture.
Sitecore experience is a plus! Sitecore Certified Developer accreditation is even better!
