Summary
The Senior Manager of Control Systems Integration will deliver and manage highly available, 24/7 supported Technology solutions within Oncor's control system environments. This individual will lead a diverse team of technical resources and systems that are responsible for servers, databases, storage, security, networks and applications that support a real time operations environment. This includes support during storm, cyber, electric operations or other events that could be digital or electrical grid impacting. These solutions must adhere to utility industry regulatory requirements and best practices, as well as guidelines to ensure the successful real-time operation of Oncor's Control Systems environments.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Directly or through others, the Senior Manager of Control Systems Integration:
- Provides oversight of the real time 24/7 monitoring, maintenance and daily operation of the Transmission Management (TMS) SCADA System, various infrastructure components of the Distribution SCADA system and associated tools and applications that support these SCADA functions
- Oversees the evaluation, deployment and administration of all software, infrastructure, network and security systems supporting the TMS environment
- Supports the Transmission Grid Operations and Distribution Operations Centers end user hardware
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), NERC CIP, Cyber Security and other regulatory requirements governing infrastructure and processes in electric utility environments
- Responsible for strategic planning to ensure control system solutions have stability to meet existing and future requirements
- Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure the Control Systems platforms continuously improve and resolve issues in the control systems environments
- Collaborates with Architecture teams on Control Systems environments, adheres to design best practices and incorporates modern infrastructure, network and security controls
- Oversees and manages all Technology related projects that impact the control system environments, and ensures they follow PMO methodology processes and tollgates
- Manages the development and implementation of Technology infrastructure including networks, server systems, security technologies, databases and application architectures
- Defines technology standards and the supporting processes to ensure the successful implementation of new technologies while maintaining both compliance and operational stability of Control Systems environments
- Develops Technology policies and procedures with oversight for administration of user permissions, security levels and technical accountability that adhere to NIST RMF, NERC CIP, Cyber Security and other regulatory requirements
- Develops and implements appropriate change, incident and problem management processes, and ensures proper integration with overall Technology processes
- Develops and implements appropriate performance metrics to be utilized by the operations teams, management and key stakeholders
- Ensures effective asset management processes are in place to maintain a healthy Technology infrastructure with a strong technology roadmap
- Participates and coordinates with internal Regulatory, Legal and other departments to provide Subject Matter Expert level support and documentation to Texas Regulators
- Acts as a security liaison between Technology and Transmission leadership to ensure the processes of both organizations are followed and implemented with security outcomes that benefit the unique needs of both organizations
- Recruits, trains and mentors Technology support staff members while developing teams and leaders to ensure goals are achieved

Job Attributes
Education
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field preferred and/or equivalent experience
Experience
- Eight to ten years of experience providing leadership in a multivendor technology environment
- Experience managing resources including employees, budgets, scope and contracts
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of Information and Operations Technology systems
