Summary
This position requires the ability to work as a contributing member of the Revenue Management Revenue Controls, Payments and Collections team to ensure daily work assignments are completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position requires necessary revenue controls and reconciliation and/or payments posting and collection expertise in order to maintain expected accuracy and completion times for the assigned work. This position may be asked to participate in small projects to improve Revenue Management operations or assist other work groups and is expected to meet deliverables in a timely manner.
This position, using basic knowledge of the customer information systems and other internal/external systems, provides basic expertise in specific functions as outlined in detailed work procedures. With supervision, they resolve and/or provide assistance in the research associated with Revenue Management issues in an accurate and timely manner.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
In this position, the incumbent will:
- Perform all essential functions and aspects of the job including any other specific job requirements
- Assist with reconciling and tracking payments from Retailers
- Assist with revenue control activities
- Assist with revenue tracking and/or closing activities
- Assist with needed updates to process documents, communications and job aides in preparation for review and approval from leads
- Assist with small projects to improve overall RM operations
- Assist other work groups with RM related tasks as requested by a supervisor
- Assist with testing efforts such as staging conditions in preparation for review and validation by leads
- Perform specific functions as outlined in detailed work procedures and job aides
- Provide assistance in the researching and resolving of issues associated with customer and retailer complaints.
Education, Experience, & Skills
The minimum education:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent is required; Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree a plus.
The minimum experience:
- Previous experience at a skilled level in at least one area of responsibility: Revenue Assurance, Reporting and Controls, Payments and Collections or similar equivalent experience.
- Previous CC&B system or similarly equivalent experience is preferred
- Previous experience meeting expected accuracy and average handle time levels is preferred

- Ability to operate in a multi-faceted and fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of the Texas Electric Market business and market processes a plus
- Basic knowledge of Texas SET, Terms and Conditions, Customer Protection, Market Protocols, and Oncor's Rate Structure a plus
- Ability to receive direction and meet deadlines set by the supervisor
- Ability to work in open work-space, and an open work environment
