Reporting to the Sr Ethics Officer, acts as a corporate expert providing leadership, consultation and direction on matters of relating to the Code of Conduct, Contractor Standards for Ethical Conduct, Fraud Risk Policy and the Public Interest Disclosure Act, in order to meet strategic and corporate objectives. What you'll do
* Provides confidential expert consulting and advisory services to management on Code of Conduct, Contractor Standards, and conflict of interest relating to business programs to support the unique business requirements while maintaining adherence to Code requirements and HR standards and alignment with overall Business Group and BC Hydro strategies.
* Manages case handling, including intake and initial assessment of conflict of interest disclosures and reports or complaints about possible breaches of the Code of Conduct, Contractor Standards and PIDA, conducts research and analysis, makes referrals, submits recommendations to management, employees and contractors to resolve and address core Code activity including for example, conflicts of interest, procurement, close relationships at work, outside activities, protection against retaliation, and gifts and hospitality.
* Coordinates investigations into complex breaches of the Code of Conduct, Contractor Standards, Fraud Risk Policy and PIDA including supporting investigation, planning and execution, and supports development and implementation of remedial actions and initiatives. May coordinate investigations under the Respectful Workplace Policy.
* Develops & evolves Ethics Program procedures and program tools identifying clear accountabilities, communications channels, and training and implementation resources, to enable effective and timely documentation, investigation, resolution and reporting of Code of Conduct matters, in consultation with Human Resources and other stakeholders.
