Position Summary:

Bentley is seeking a highly motivated Colleague Success Systems and Analytics Manager to lead our efforts in HR technology and analytics. While Bentley has an existing HRIS solution, we are in the process of optimizing and revolutionizing by rolling out new functionalities creating opportunities for automation, enhancement, and self-service to create successful outcomes for colleagues and the business. This is an exciting time to be at Bentley and in the Colleague Success team, and this role will play a pivotal role in establishing the foundation of our technology strategy for the future.

In this role you will lead a team of highly capable professionals to automate, integrate, and configure core HR processes and technologies, collect and analyze data to identify insights and sharpen decision-making, and identify and implement strategies to increase the productivity of the Colleague Success department. Reporting to the Senior Director, Colleague Success Total Rewards, Systems and Analytics, you will play a key leadership role in optimizing HR systems to provide an amazing colleague experience.

You will be working on a global scale with the autonomy to make a positive difference in this space. This autonomy requires a forward-thinking individual with the drive to take data analytics and technology forward in Bentley.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Colleague Success Systems & Analytics team to design and implement HR technology infrastructure that brings the Colleague Success strategy to life, governs HR data as the single source of truth, establishes agile processes to maintain compliance, and provides insights for business success and enhanced colleague experience
  • Oversee and maintain optimal function of HR systems including installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Establish a strong partnership with Digital Experience (IT) and other stakeholders to ensure clear governance and alignment and deliver value.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise for HRIS modules - ensuring system health and sustainability.
  • Develop, document, and maintain all current and new business process workflows for efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure data accuracy, privacy, and security.
  • Synthesize and document requirements for process improvement, enhancements, new software, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and drive continuous improvement of data analytics, to provide accurate business insight, enabling and supporting sharpened decision making.
  • Establish and lead regular audit cadence to ensure quality of business processes and data integrity.
  • Actively identify and resolve issues or opportunities for enhanced colleague experience and team efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with the broader Colleague Success team to provide support for strategic projects and initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, MIS (Information systems) or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-8 years' experience working with HRIS systems and 2+ years managing an HRIS team in a global environment.
  • 3 years' experience working with SuccessFactors or Workday preferred.
  • Experience managing HRIS changes/implementations to support M&A.
  • Out-of-the-box thinker who continuously seeks ways to improve and optimize use of HRIS platforms.
  • Experience with multiple HR Technology implementations preferred.
  • Strong management and team building skills to effectively lead cross functional project teams.
  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Thorough understanding of and experience with system development life cycle.
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
  • Able to effectively partner with IT and non-technical customers to understand user needs and translate needs into technical process and configuration requirements.
  • Able to work in a dynamic organization by balancing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Excel and managing data.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective presentation skills for communicating the strategic story behind HR data.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • This role will require minimal travel, on average once per year.
