Dominion Energy's Regulatory Accounting group is looking to hire a Regulatory Specialist to prepare revenue requirements for Dominion Energy Virginia's and Dominion Energy North Carolina's regulatory rider filings. Duties in this role include: Prepare rate filings including written testimony and supporting schedules for electric rider cases. Work with various Accounting and Financial groups to develop and prepare rider revenue requirements and associated work papers and documentation. Prepare discovery responses. Monitor and analyze regulatory changes. Ensure compliance with regulatory commission directives. Provide regulatory accounting support to regulators, outside consultants, and internal and external counsel. Serve as an expert witness in proceedings before the Virginia State Corporation Commission and North Carolina Utilities Commission including the preparation of pre-filed written testimony and oral testimony at public evidentiary hearings. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Commission Staff and regulatory stakeholders. Provide mentoring and coaching to staff. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
7+ years' experience in state and/or federal regulatory revenue requirement preparation and/or review, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications: Ability to be an expert witness. Effective oral communication, written communication, presentation, coaching, and teaching skills. Demonstrated knowledge of advanced financial concepts, analytical techniques, and regulatory issues. Outstanding analytical, computer, problem assessment, and problem-solving skills. Ability to evaluate independently and recommend courses of action in response to inquiries. Strong Excel skills.
