Under general direction, manages the functions, activities and personnel engaged in employment and compensation; training and employee development; employee benefits and workers' compensation; industrial safety; labor and employee relations; and security, claims and investigations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Public Administration or Human Resource Administration and eight years of increasingly responsible supervisory experience in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling human resources and loss control functions in a mid-sized organization. Management experience within a public utility is desired.
Licensing & Certification Requirements
A valid driver's license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.
An official current driving record (obtained within the last six months) from your local State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or from official DMV website must accompany job application (no third party records accepted).
Veteran's Preference (External Applicants Only): Submit DD form 214 or other evidence of veterans' status by job posting deadline.
