Description
Job Purpose
To lead system application change management and governance including the management and resolution of systems performance issues and faults alongside the knowledge management for the relevant applications in order to ensure the managed system of the business receives the maximum value from its business application landscape.
Key Accountabilities
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Act as the lead business user for issue escalation and resolution
- Lead and deliver system application role management and audit capability
- Manage and coordinate system business continuity and disaster recovery plans for systematic application landscape
- Monitor and manage the performance of the system applications in conjunction with the IS delivery team
- Lead setting and delivery of the system's approach to change for new IS applications and enhancements and release management of production systems
- Ensure the integrity of core applications and enable the integration of project requirements within the system core applications
- Coordinate the system's access to pre-production and test environments in support of its change roadmap
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent in an appropriate technical discipline, such as computer science/studies, project management, engineering or information required
- 5+ years of experience of working in an IS environment, taking a lead on application administration, change and governance with an understanding of core asset management processes required
- 2+ years' experience with Office 365 Suite, including MS Project and SharePoint required
- Proven experience acting as liaison with IS Service providers, business users and leads in respect to system performance issues, faults and modifications
- Significant experience in a team management or supervisory role
- Experience leading stakeholder engagements in challenging situations is desirable
- Experience ensuring clarity regarding the costs of services provided vis-a-vis the value delivered to business units
