What's new in RSCAD FX

Users can navigate RSCAD FX with ease thanks to its new user interface, which features configurable tabs that can be resized, moved, or undocked for a customizable user experience. An all-new suite of Windows-based shortcuts also allow users to copy, paste, drag and drop, toggle, and manipulate components in an intuitive way.

The master library layout and organization in RSCAD FX is also substantially revised, making it easier to navigate, search, or filter results by simulation environment or phasing. Components are now displayed as convenient tiles with the actual component diagram viewable by hovering over the tile and can be dragged onto cases.

New features, such as wire mode, allows users to quickly and easily add wires and/or jumpers to a case using only the mouse. And the new auto-naming feature automatically increments component and signal names to avoid duplicates, helping reduce compile errors.

A new Quick Access Toolbar allows users to drag and drop commonly used components to a case. Components can be clicked once to be stuck to the mouse, or twice if the user wishes to place the same component repeatedly.
