Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO)  announced it received Dr. Massoud Amin's decision to resign from the MRO Board late last week. Dr. Amin has been a valuable member of the board and its committees since 2013. "It was with a heavy heart," Amin said, "that I reached the decision to resign from the MRO Board due to my other on-going professional commitments. I am confident that MRO's superb staff and board will continue to make a difference in the reliability and security of the bulk power system."

MRO Board Chair Richard Doying said: "The MRO Board is very appreciative of Dr. Amin's contributions and service on the MRO Board. He is a dedicated champion of the North American bulk power grid. The board and staff thank him for his contributions and steadfast service."
