USTDA Advances U.S.-Vietnam Smart Cities Collaboration

This week, Acting Director Enoh T. Ebong concluded a trip to Vietnam where the U.S. Trade and Development Agency hosted a U.S.-Vietnam Smart Cities Workshop. The Workshop featured project opportunities related to Vietnam's urban modernization agenda and smart city goals. The event showcased U.S. solutions, expertise, and products for the development of smart and efficient urban infrastructure, while creating market access for U.S. companies.

"Smart solutions are revolutionizing cities and improving the lives of people across Vietnam, and around the world. USTDA is excited to continue connecting U.S. businesses to these new opportunities," said Acting Director Enoh T. Ebong.

The Acting Director's trip also involved meetings with Vietnam Electricity, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Transportation, and the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation. 


The U.S. Trade and Development Agency helps companies create U.S. jobs through the export of U.S. goods and services for priority development projects in emerging economies. USTDA links U.S. businesses to export opportunities by funding project planning activities, pilot projects, and reverse trade missions while creating sustainable infrastructure and economic growth in partner countries.
