As part of the development of our engineering teams, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Apprentice to join our team in Taverny from September / October 2026.
Your role
Working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, you will contribute to the mechanical design and development of SERGI solutions while progressively expanding your responsibilities as your technical skills develop.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the definition and development of mechanical technical solutions;
- Creating and updating 3D models, arrangement drawings, assembly drawings and manufacturing drawings;
- Preparing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation;
- Creating and updating technical references in SAP;
- Supporting Project, Production, R&D and Quality teams on mechanical design topics;
- Participating in continuous improvement and technical development activities;
- Gradually taking ownership of more complex assignments according to your progress, skills and interests
Contract: Apprenticeship / work-study contract aligned with your academic program
Target start date: September to mid-October 2026
Preferred school/company rhythm: 1 week at school / 1 week at SERGI
Travel: No regular travel expected; occasional project or site support may be required
We are looking for a motivated engineering student who combines technical curiosity, rigor and a strong willingness to learn.
You should bring:
- A good technical foundation in mechanical design, industrial drawing and 3D CAD;
- The ability to understand and produce mechanical drawings and BOMs;
- Initial experience with 3DEXPERIENCE; knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCAD would be an advantage;
- Rigor, reliability and attention to detail;
- Good coordination and communication skills;
- Learning agility and the ability to progressively work with greater autonomy;
- English at B1/B2 level.
Your academic background
You are currently completing a Bac+2 or Bac+3 qualification and preparing to enter a Bac+3 to Bac+5 program in:
- Mechanical Design;
- Mechanical Engineering;
- Industrial Engineering with a mechanical specialization;
- or a related technical field.
A first successful apprenticeship, work-study experience or relevant industrial placement would be appreciated. Above all, we are looking for strong technical fundamentals, motivation and potential.
