Job Summary
Lead Financial Analyst independently drives complex and technically advanced financial and economic analyses, modeling, and research to support business unit and enterprise level decision making. This role designs, interprets, and applies financial models, long-term forecasts, sensitivity analyses, and rate review strategy across multiple workstreams. The Lead Financial Analyst serves as a strategic financial advisor, shaping recommendations, influencing decisions, and supporting implementation with a high degree of autonomy.
What you will do
- Independently drives highly complex financial and economic analyses to support business-unit and enterprise-level decision-making.

Designs, enhances, and interprets advanced financial models, long-term forecasts, and scenario analyses across multiple workstreams.

Serves as a strategic financial advisor to internal customers, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and alternative courses of action.

Shapes financial recommendations and supports implementation of approved decisions aligned to strategic priorities.

Leads cross-functional discussions and influences stakeholders through clear communication of complex financial insights, trade-offs, and implications.

Drives business planning, benchmarking, research, and risk assessment efforts with significant organizational impact.

Leads or plays a significant role in the rate review process, including development of filings and communication with regulatory or external stakeholders, as applicable.

Identifies and drives innovative improvements to financial processes, models, and analytical approaches.

Serves as a financial subject matter expert, providing expert guidance and informal mentoring to strengthen analytical capabilities across the team.

Supervision

Education Requirements

Master's Degree or Advanced Degree | Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field Preferred.
Required Experience

8 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Planning, Strategic Planning, Accounting or other related field Required.
Certification Requirements

CMA CPA or CFA Preferred
