Provide comprehensive support to the Legal and Risk Management function by managing contract administration, damage collections, and legal documentation processes. This role ensures efficient, compliant, and cost-effective legal operations while delivering high-quality internal client service and supporting corporate governance activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end damage collections, including stakeholder communication, settlement negotiation, and tracking of payments for claims, restitution, and legal recoveries.
- Process restitution payments and coordinate claim filings with external legal counsel.
- Administer enterprise contract lifecycle activities, including drafting, reviewing, editing, tracking, and maintaining contracts.
- Conduct first-level legal review and support contract negotiations in partnership with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
- Respond to contract-related inquiries and support documentation for complex projects (e.g., construction, IT).
- Support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of CLM workflows and processes.
- Maintain and track leases, trademarks, copyrights, and certificates of insurance, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations.
- Review insurance documentation, including materials related to customer interconnection (e.g., solar).
- Support bankruptcy and foreclosure processes to drive efficient resolution and minimize organizational risk.
- Provide general legal support, including drafting correspondence, compiling information, and maintaining documentation.
- Assist Corporate Counsel with governance activities.
- Serve as a key point of contact for legal inquiries and ensure timely follow-up with business partners.
