Provide strategic and tactical analysis, including physical security intelligence, in support of investigative, protective, counterintelligence, crisis and incident response, as well as other operations. Monitor a variety of open and closed source data feeds in order to assist in the direction, response, and mitigation of potential threats to Company employees and assets. Gather, analyze, and disseminate timely and relevant intelligence to key stakeholders. Create written reports and oral briefings that summarize the results and relevance of intelligence gathered and analyzed. Conduct travel safety briefings and security debriefings for employees traveling internationally. Generate appropriate traveler requirements and provide equipment (if necessary) for travel to destinations requiring security caution. Maintain and operate traveler security alerting systems. Create counterintelligence briefings and conduct background checks based on risk for visitors entering facilities. Provide intelligence support related to security incidents with actual or probable impact to Company locations and/or employees. Assist Security Support Services and HR with the hiring process by providing risk assessments for contingent hires. Provide 24/7 on-call coverage, on a rotational basis, to deliver immediate action for critical intelligence functions.
Primary Duties
- Provide tactical and strategic intelligence support for Corporate and OpCo Physical Security investigations (20%)
- Research and acquire relevant security information on domestic and international destinations for key Company personnel. Synthesize and contextualize content to create travel and connectivity guidance reports, based on locations. Provide intelligence briefings, both written and oral, to pertinent teams and stakeholders. (25%)
- Monitor open and closed source data feeds to detect, investigate, and mitigate the impact of potential threats. Synthesize and contextualize data to understand strategic implications to the enterprise and disseminate the information to appropriate parties. (20%)
- Research and brief counterintelligence threats to key Company personnel, as well as conduct background investigations on visitors in accordance to the risk of their country of origin. (25%)
- Maintain an international travel whereabouts database and alert system. (5%)
- Provide 24/7 on-call intelligence support, on a rotational basis, to respond to threats and concerns potentially impacting facilities, systems, and/or employees (including travelers). (5%)
Job Scope
- Act as a liaison to Enterprise-wide security teams, providing risk and threat assessment as well as intelligence analysis
- Provide security guidance and support to employees who are travelling
- Maintain a security network of public and private entities to support effective information sharing
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience analyzing intelligence in law enforcement at the local/state/federal level or in a corporate environment, or in lieu of degree, 6-9 years of experience in combination of education and relevant work experience in a relevant field (counterterrorism, intelligence analysis, international relations/affairs, or criminal justice)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Background in the following intelligence arenas: counterterrorism, domestic terrorism, random acts of violence, workplace violence, counterintelligence, executive protection
- Experience using analytic techniques to identify trends, fill information gaps, and develop judgements
- Knowledge of operations, procedures, techniques, and terminology of the intelligence community
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree; relevant security certifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain up to a secret level security clearance
- Experience drafting intelligence reports for Department of Defense (DoD), Law Enforcement Officer (LEO), United States Intelligence Community (USIC), or corporate entities
- Protective intelligence training (formal or operational)
- Familiarity with protective intelligence and executive threat monitoring, including online threat vectors, harassment, and doxxing
- Experience using open- and closed-source intelligence platforms
- Strong analytic writing skills able to produce executive-ready intelligence products under time pressure
- Experience with Everbridge (vendor tool)
