This position is centered around automation and Infrastructure-as-Code. This role involves building and decommissioning servers, managing environments such as Terraform and Ansible, and driving automation to streamline processes. You'll be instrumental in evolving our infrastructure management practices through scripting and coding, process enhancement, and innovative tooling. Experience with IaC platforms such as Terraform, Ansible Automation Platform, and a strong understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code principles are essential for this role.
To be successful as the IT Infrastructure Administrator II or Senior, we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or certification in an Information Technology related field, or combined equivalent experience
- Senior: A minimum of six (6) years infrastructure support experience
- Level II: A minimum of three (3) years infrastructure support experience
- The incumbent's experience must demonstrate effective computing and problem solving skill
- An effective knowledge of enterprise server operating systems, applications, hardware configurations, hardware upgrade or repair, problem solving, and troubleshooting skill
- Knowledge of tcp/ip v4 and v6 networking as it pertains to systems configuration
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Good customer service and organization skills
- Technical certification pursuant to the Infrastructure Admin Technology Training Certification Program. The following list of technical certifications are examples for this role and are not to be considered a complete list:
