Description
This position supports the Service Center operations team by fulfilling orders for both stock material and
fabricated pieces. As a member of this team, responsibility and work is shared to deliver a quality product
on schedule. As a code shop, attention to detail is expected to adhere to ASME requirements. Experience
in all areas of fabrication is not expected, but ability to learn new skills is mandatory.

Locates tube stock on shelf and delivers to proper location in shop

Sets up and operates tube sawing operation

Reads drawings and tape measure to determine proper length during sawing operation

Uses handheld milling machine to prep tube ends for welding

Sets up and operates cold and hot bending machinery for bending process

Sets up and operates swaging machinery
-
Performs own inspections using common inspection tools sketches and layouts
-
Create sketches and layouts on tables and floors to be used for inspection

Detects and reports faulty operations and defective material
-
Keeps work areas, machinery, and equipment clean and orderly

Supports maintenance of quality records and code documentation
-
Performs welding operation, as needed, using GTAW, SMAW, GMAW
-
Maintains on-call status 24/7 on a rotating basis
Qualifications

Three years in a manufacturing environment

Must work well with others
-
Welding experience
-
Some experience reading drawings
-
Able to use common inspection tools

Must work with little direction from supervisor

Ability to give directions to others as required

Must possess basic computer skills

Highschool Education or GED
-
Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license
