The Outside Sales Support Representative supports a team of Fiber Optics Business Sales Executives through the entire sale process starting with the creation of opportunities to post-sale support. The primary objective of the Outside Sales Support Representative is to assist in keeping the Outside Sales Executives in the field and interacting with EPB prospects and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide necessary support for all Outsides Sales (Outside, Key and Continuity) activities as needed.
- Create customer quotes based on Outside Sales SSRs (Sales Service Requests).
- Input Salesforce order notes and activate quotes upon receipt of a signed agreement.
- Update and extract information from Salesforce, Omnia & CRM as needed to complete support activities and maintain accurate customer records.
- Collaborate with Sales Support and Network Operations to ensure precise order entry of complex services (HPBX, SIP, PRI, and VLANs) to provide a quality customer experience.
- Handle follow-up Omnia billing corrections, issues, and problems through direct interaction with the billing department and/or customers.
- Research and respond to customer billing and service inquiries.
- Serve as backup for various department roles as needed.
- Perform special projects as assigned by Director, Supervisor, or Team Lead.
Education and Experience
- High school education or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of telecommunications and internet services preferred.
Certification(s) and Other Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication, organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills required.
- Intermediate to advanced PC skills are necessary.
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to proficiently use Omnia and Toolbox in order to perform customer product audits when required.
