Summary:
The Manager, Asset Data Controls and Analytics is responsible for leading and directing efforts to develop efficient cross-functional business processes and data controls that result in accurate asset and work management data for the GRE transmission system, and analytic solutions that leverage this data to provide value to stakeholders.
Total Rewards:
A typical starting range for this position is $172,000 - $245,000 + annually. Responsibilities: Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Asset and work order management controls, compliance, and reporting
o Provide leadership to establish, promote, and maintain cross-functional business processes necessary to effectively track critical transmission, generation, and telecommunication system assets, and related work management activities.
· Asset data analytic solutions and strategy
o Develop GRE's asset-based business intelligence and data science capabilities through alignment of data and process controls, software technology tools, staff training, and stakeholder education.
· Leadership
o Manage, coach, and provide work direction to employees and contract staff to maximize productivity and teamwork.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, project management or related field AND 7+ plus years' experience in transmission system operations, construction, and maintenance or related business process development with proven leadership and/or project management experience.
OR
· Associate's degree or two-year degree in business, engineering, project management or related field AND 10+ years' experience in transmission system operations, construction, and maintenance or related business process development with proven leadership and/or project management experience.
· Experience/skill in developing reports using data query and report design tools such as MS Access, Excel, Power BI, Cognos, or others.
· Knowledge of engineering design documentation and ability to interpret technical drawings, bills of materials, contracts, and other related documentation.
· Knowledge of construction and maintenance of electric substations, transmission lines, and telecommunications systems.
· Knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods and the ability to deploy new processes to adapt to changing business circumstances.
· Knowledge of relational database concepts and structure.
· Knowledge of interconnected utility systems and transmission agreements.
· Knowledge and experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite and core applications
· Skilled at effective communications at both technical and executive levels. Skills must include good interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills, and ability to understand information and ideas as presented.
· Skill in developing and delivering effective presentations.
· Skill of preparing complex written materials including presentations, reports, and correspondence to meet purpose and audience.
· Skill and ability to think strategically and effectively promote a business vision and direction.
· Skilled in conflict resolution including the ability to address differences of opinion or fact and use of the most appropriate method to reach an effective solution.
· Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships, both internal and external, and establish credibility with business partners.
