Idaho Power located in vibrant Boise, Idaho is looking for an Operational Technology Network Leader to join our Power Supply team. It's an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. What does an Operational Technology Network Leader do for us?

As a frontline leader, this role is responsible for delivering a secure, efficient, reliable, and highly available Operational Technology (OT) network and infrastructure. The Operational Technology Networks Leader actively promotes and executes the mission and values while leading a team of technical professionals. They provide coaching, mentoring, and development to support both individual and team growth. The leader oversees infrastructure and security requirements, sets clear priorities for projects, maintenance, and daily work, and ensures strong team productivity. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining accurate budget oversight within their area of responsibility.

A COMPETITIVE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

Knowledge of:

  • IT/OT processes including change, problem, and incident management
  • Root cause analysis, troubleshooting methodologies, and detailed problem documentation
  • Cybersecurity concepts, principles, and their application across technical domains
  • High-availability system design, disaster recovery, and secure architecture practices
  • Progressive, in-depth technical knowledge relevant to the discipline
  • Utility industry operations, workflows, and business environments

Preferred:

  • Project management
  • Technology security frameworks
  • Budgeting and financial awareness
  • IT system engineering, system administration, and cybersecurity
  • Field operations and operational technology (OT)
  • NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards
