Summary
Our Surprise crew has an opening for a PDM Lineman Journeyman. We will rely on your exceptional work ethic to be responsible for working on new construction projects and maintaining existing underground and overhead facilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or G. E. D.
- Completed a Registered Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program or an equivalent training program (as approved by APS T&D Technical & Safety Training) PLUS one year experience as a Journeyman Lineman**
- Requires working with aerial equipment, which have weight restrictions of 300 lbs or less
- Must pass written and hands-on exam and successfully demonstrate climbing skills
- Subject to call outs
- Must live within a reasonable distance from headquarters as reasonable and necessary overtime work will be required (1 hour)
Additional Information:
- This is a Predictive maintenance and line inspection team.
- Position requires some statewide travel
- Work with Drone and Overhead Inspection Team
- Work with PDM staff on the underground and enclosure inspections
- Serve as a Visual Observer - FAA Part 107 drone license is preferred
