This position is responsible for the investigation and resolution of claims and/or litigation involving property damage and personal injury. This position will be located within Alabama Power's Eastern Division in Anniston, AL. It will also provide support in other geographic areas of the Company as needed.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties include conducting/assisting with related investigations, negotiating/settling property damage and personal injury claims while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction
Serve as a Company representative/witness in depositions, mediations and trials
The candidate must be dependable, cooperative, have the ability to multi-task, and react positively to rapidly changing priorities and job assignments
Support Safe-T-Opolis and Safe-T-Zone electrical Public Safety Awareness programs for the Company
Candidate must be available for 24-hour call out for the purposes of investigating accidents.

Job Experience & Education
B.S. degree in Business or related field preferred or equivalent work experience in a related field
Graduate degree is a plus
Experience and/or knowledge relative to electrical systems operation a plus.
Prior experience and/or knowledge in law enforcement and/or insurance is a plus.

Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously from beginning through completion with little or no direction

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management and society in a professional manner
Working knowledge of the law (tort, contract, statutory, common and civil) is desirable Behavioral Attributes
