The Human Resources Internship Program is geared towards current college students who are earning a Human Resources degree or other related eld. We are also looking for those who have a passion for learning the inside workings of a large utility company within the energy industry. The Human Resources Internship Program at Consumers Energy has core principles in place to challenge the intern and practically apply theories learned in their educational journey.
What you will do:
Current college students of all levels will work as part of a larger team to provide hands-on support and development for aspects of our business. This may include workforce planning best practices, supporting operational needs, learning and development, presentation creation, analytics/metrics, internal communications and more all while helping create a better tomorrow for the communities we serve!

We encourage you to apply if you possess the following:
- Enrolled and actively pursuing an associates or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development/Management from an accredited university as a student. A successful candidate should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
