We're looking for a seasoned operations professional to lead coal yard activities at our Columbia plant in Pardeeville, WI. What you will do

Directly participates in the development of plant-specific goals and objectives.

Continuously monitors performance against financial and operating goals and communicates the information to employees.

Ensures that employees understand and accept business unit and plant/unit financial and operating goals and guides them to focus efforts on achieving goals.

Demonstrates leadership in the area of safety, including observing and enforcing safety rules and operating practices, encouraging safe work behaviors, and promptly correcting conditions and unsafe work behaviors which may lead to accidents.

Responsible for administering and monitoring safety programs and performing safety assessments.

Plans, assigns duties, and supervises employees assigned to the shift, and ensures duties are being performed in accordance with established plant policies and procedures.

Leads the implementation of process improvements and recommendations, with focus on the performance of critical processes and systems.

Ensures that all aspects of plant operations remain in compliance with environmental rules and regulations.

Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy's Values and helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.
Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Business Administration, or related area Preferred
Required Experience
-
3 years of related experience.
Preferred Experience
-
Experience in manufacturing maintenance or mechanical/electrical engineering.

Demonstrated experience working with labor union management
