Responsibilities- Oversees engineers performing diagnostics, monitoring and inspecting equipment, and reviewing grid technologies, building relationships to facilitate cross-functional knowledge transfer of related work groups
- Leads the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate and lead with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless development, integration and implementation of future technologies and asset performance management strategies
- Assists in a variety of engineering and business initiatives and grid strategies, including development of innovative procedures and design recommendations
- Provides support for new equipment installation and startup, then leads the hand over processes to the ramp and sustaining phases
- Leads junior engineers in investigation of threats on the distribution system infrastructure based on observations and findings
- Gathers and correlates basic data using engineering studies and procedures, which may include routine and diagnostic testing of components and systems
- Facilitates training and professional development opportunities for engineering team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in a scientific/technical/math field.
- Seven or more years of experience performing engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments.
- Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, power systems, or related
- 5+ years of experience in utility planning, load forecasting, or grid operations
- Strong understanding of electric utility infrastructure, planning, scoping, identifying utility grid solutions or mitigations, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in system analysis tools (e.g., CYME, Python, PSLF, or load forecasting software).
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Demonstrated experience preparing detailed engineering studies and reports.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly capture technical information and presenting to management.
- A passion for innovation and implementing cutting-edge technologies to enhance system reliability and performance.
