Commercial Sales Manager Broker Sales

Location:  US - Remote

Your Opportunity:

The Commercial Sales Manager leads the sales team focused on the Indirect/Broker sales channel for Hudson Energy. This team is the frontline of delivery to build a strong and loyal Sales Partner customer base. This position will work directly with the BDM sales team and Sales Analysts to drive business through the indirect sales channel. This position will allow the individual to regularly interact with many areas within Hudson Energy, such as Structuring, Supply, Customer Service and Legal.

Your key accountabilities:

·         Hire, manage and develop a team of Business Development Managers and Sales Analysts for the Indirect/Broker Sales team.

·         Motivate and support sales performance through day-to-day interaction with the team and support staff.

·         Develop annual sales business plan in conjunction with Sr. Vice President - Commercial Sales

·         Monitor team member performance through ongoing review of key performance metrics.  Ensure strong team performance to achieve sales goals.

·         Provide guidance and training to team members on how to manage and grow broker relationships effectively.

·         Develop and maintain multilevel relationships within Broker partners, inclusive of establishing high-level contacts with our high value partners.

·         Work collaboratively with all necessary internal departments and divisions of the Company and its affiliates as necessary to execute the responsibilities of the Position

·         Identify market & product opportunities and present to leadership for review and execution

·         Achieve and exceed all sales goals assigned to the team

Your background includes:

·         Minimum of 5 -10 years' experience in energy sales and business development with at least 3 - 5 years in sales management

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to achieve goals or targets with a sense of urgency

·         Ability to excel in front of internal and external leadership audiences

·         Ability to think strategically and operate with a broader business environment in mind

·         Ability to travel as needed to support sales efforts (up to 25%)

·         Bachelor's degree
