Build the Platforms that Power the Power Grid 

As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining our next generation hosting platforms. This includes driving container adoption, cloud operations in Azure, and platform reliability across mission-critical systems.  

What you'll do: 

  • Design, build, and support reliable hosting platforms across Azure and on-prem environments. 
  • Automate infrastructure and deployments using Ansible and other IaC tools. 
  • Lead containerization efforts with Kubernetes and Docker, evolving our app hosting strategy. 
  • Implement and manage observability systems using modern tooling and practices. 
  • Collaborate across teams to establish reliability goals, shift security left, and support internal platform adoption. 

What you'll need: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, or equivalent technical training, certifications, or experience. 
  • Typically, 3+ Years of experience in platform engineering, SRE, or systems automation roles. 
  • Proficiency with Azure services, Ansible, Kubernetes, and VMware. 
  • Experience integrating observability tools like Splunk and Azure Monitor. 
  • Strong communication skills and a product-oriented approach to platform development. 

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience migrating workloads from VM to container platforms 
  • Exposure to policy-as-code or CI/CD pipeline security controls 
  • Hands-on experience with IaC testing or change management pipelines 
  • Contributions to internal developer platforms or tools 
  • Enterprise Product Management experience
