Job Summary
The Manager of Talent Acquisition is a brand ambassador and strategic partner to our business leaders and is responsible for designing and executing a talent acquisition strategy enabling the company to attract, assess, hire and retain the right people to execute our strategic priorities. The Manager, TA will bring our culture to life in our recruiting tools and processes including candidate and business partner experience. Will develop and manage outside sourcing relationships to include professional and community organizations. Plans effective acquisition strategies based on workforce planning efforts, including the availability of the right recruiting tools and processes and the ability to use data to determine innovations needed for continuous improvement.

Essential Functions

  • Recruiting Strategy
    Develops and operationalizes recruiting strategies that emphasize speed, quality, diversity, innovation, process efficiency and candidate and leader experience.
    Identifies and monitors recruitment metrics to assess recruiting effectiveness in hiring cycle time, competitive hiring measures candidate experience, and new hire quality and engagement.
    Continues to innovate strategy by leveraging available tools to include social media, company website, job boards and team member ownership and engagement in process.
    Facilitates effective talent acquisition discussions with leaders and helps forecast talent needs in line with workforce planning and business strategy.
    Researches and cultivates new and innovative recruiting sources to develop a pipeline of talent.
  • Team Effectiveness
    Selects, leads and develops talented full cycle recruiters- while improving capability and delivering results.
    Shares best practices and successes to maximize sources of candidates and capitalize on competitive opportunities.
    Ensures that the team is knowledgeable and aligned with the company vision, culture and values and are good brand ambassadors.
    Conducts regular reviews with department leaders to report on staffing, metrics, in order to ensure client satisfaction.
    Collaborates with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) to successfully deploy HR recruiting and staffing practices in a way that is seamless to our partners.
  • Innovation & Process Improvement
    Builds a data-driven recruiting organization, including analytics that provide insight and decision support.
    Identifies inefficiencies in processes and encourages innovative thinking and decision making.
    Stays abreast of trends through networking and benchmarking and incorporates the information into the recruiting / sourcing processes.
    Monitors and ensure compliance to all applicable Federal, State, and local laws governing the selection process including application forms, pre-employment forms, post-employment forms, and recruiting materials.
    Directs and administers recruitment vendor relationships with service providers challenges them to provide innovation.
  • Budget & Cost Control
    Manages recruitment cost center budget, maximizing the return on investment of recruitment expenditures.
    Leverage relationship recruitment opportunities and other sources of external candidates to reduce/eliminate need for external recruitment expenses.
    Monitors offers to ensure within budget and hiring range.
    Create meaningful metrics to measure improvements in the experience, success, and impact on the organization.
    Manages vendor contracts, budget forecasting and timely invoice processing.
    Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications for Position

  • Bachelor's Degree (Human Resources or Business preferred)
  • 5-7 years of experience in a role demonstrating talent acquisition and team leadership, including identifying candidates to meet business needs in a fast-paced environment
  • 1-3 years managing and developing direct reports and teams
  • Experience building, coaching, and managing a full-cycle recruiting or talent management team in a corporate/field environment
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools and social media recruiting
  • Experience analyzing data and presenting in a story to determine actions and decisions
  • Experience with developing training material to support recruiting processes
  • Technical Skills
  • Advanced knowledge and abilities in talent acquisition, sourcing, diverse recruiting strategies, service level agreements, and TA analytics
  • Strong project management skills to drive effective execution
  • Proven accomplishments implementing business segment goals across multiple functions, regions or geographies
  • Uses insight about the business environment to improve talent and business outcomes
  • Leverages data to support business decision making
  • Proven successful results on assignments requiring collaborative work across organizational boundaries
  • Uses networks in strategic activities to drive better talent outcomes
  • Ability to persuade and influence business leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Strong project and change management skills
  • Track record of solving complex problems, designing strategies and delivering results
  • Sets aggressive goals; creates accountabilities to ensure department is productive
  • Persuasive communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and networking skills
  • Strategic thinker able to design innovative, differentiating strategies to attract highly qualified candidates and market brand opportunities and value proposition
  • Can do attitude with ability to inspire team to achieve extraordinary results

Preferred Qualifications for Position

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives to streamline operations and promote continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience driving talent acquisition transformation through process optimization, technology implementation, and data-driven strategies.
  • Six Sigma Certification or similar
