What you'll do
As a member of the Energy Management Product Operations Team, the Manager, Energy Management Product Delivery is responsible for overall business operations, managing and providing leadership towards the day to day operations team delivering BC Hydro's Energy Management products and services for our customers and partners. They will manage the operations delivery process from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, risk management, resource allocation, process adherence and communication with stakeholders. They are also responsible for tracking progress and making adjustments as needed to ensure energy management product and service requirements are met and performance metrics are on track. This people leadership role directly manages a team of Energy Management Operations MoveUp employees and ensures the quality and timeliness of their work, adherence to standards and skill development.  

* Develop (hire, coach, mentor, train, provide feedback, foster inclusive workplace, etc.) and leads team of energy management product and services MoveUp staff responsible for processing customer applications and associated touchpoints of BC Hydro's energy management products and services.
* Establish, track and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to core business objectives and make adjustments to processes, resources or strategies as required.
* Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets of employees to improve output, eliminate errors, and manage operational risk.
* Identify process improvement opportunities including technical (IT) and resources (people), grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures, and identify internal and external best practices for process improvements.
* Formulate plans and strategies to monitor and accomplish work of team; support improvements in the work plan delivery;
* Keeps current with emerging customer application technologies and best practices in product and services delivery and brings new ideas for improvements to the appropriate organizational committees for implementation.
* Supports Operations Business Improvement Team in developing and launching operational delivery methods and solutions for large, complex, customized programs and offers.
* Collaborate with key internal stakeholders in Product Management, Engineering, Alliance , Key accounts, Contact Centre, Finance & Supply Chain to review KPIs that pertain to those business units and assess opportunities for improvements to Energy Management Operations or other business functions that impact Energy Management Operations.
* Manage effective business relationships with contractors providing services to support the work of energy management products and services as well as external stakeholders such as Fortis BC, Clean BC and related Government Ministries.
