Description
Ameresco is looking for an O&M Operations Specialist will report to the Eastern Operations Manager and Field Supervisors, assisting in the day-to-day management of Ameresco- and customer-owned assets. This role will also have a significant responsibility for shipping, receiving, parts, and inventory management at the Westborough location. 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Ameresco's CMMS platform to efficiently support Eastern Division operational goals. 

  • Review, update, and organize dispatches to ensure seamless transitions throughout the work order process. 

  • Source competitive vendor quotes to support project completion and cost efficiency. 

  • Track and follow up on Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) to ensure timely warranty processing and resolution. 

  • Vendor Management & RMAs 

  • Coordinate with vendors and field technicians to set up, track, and manage all RMAs. 

  • Set up new vendors in Ameresco's application platforms. 

  • Oversee Ameresco's vehicle assets and third-party fleet provider (Wheels). 

  • Coordinate vehicle purchasing, maintenance, and registration. 

  • Ensure compliance with US DOT requirements and insurance policies. 

  • Manage both Ameresco-owned and customer-owned inventory. 

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, shipping, and receiving. 

  • Maintain consumable inventory for field technicians. 

  • Coordinate ordering of tools and consumables as needed. 

  • Deliver parts and materials to technicians as needed. 

  • Provide on-site assistance to field technicians as an extra set of hands. 

  • Manage recycler coordination for proper disposal of materials. 

  • Perform other duties as required by the Operations Manager and Field Supervisors. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience with electrical or solar background

  • Current and Valid Driver's License

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working within an AMSS application. 

  • Minimum of two years of experience in warehouse and asset management. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). 

  • Experience with low-level financials (purchase orders, credit card management). 

  • Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills. 

  • Effective communication and leadership abilities. 

  • Valid driver's license in good standing, issued by the state of residence.
