Job Summary:

The HRIS Analyst reports to the HRIS Program Manager in Human Resources and is responsible for the support of Oracle Cloud HCM Platform. This individual will serve as a point-of-contact for the Human Resources (HR) functional area and assist users with system functionality, ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, production support, project participation, training users, analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities, and other administrative HRIS needs to ensure successful integration with downstream systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM Platform. Specific modules include Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Core HR, Talent Management (Goals/Performance). 
  • Maintains Oracle Cloud HCM data structures/tables; research, analyze, and report on data pertaining to HR.
  • Supports system end users with resolution of data entry, access, or workflow approval issues.
  • Assists in the design and performance of system testing for new functionality, patches, and upgrades. 
  • Acts as an HR systems expert providing guidance and direction in support of projects and implementations.  This includes reviewing functionality and its impact to the current business processes including QA testing.
  • Understands downstream implications of Oracle Cloud HCM data changes and adjusts/prepares accordingly to ensure that functionality is performing as expected and data is interfaced correctly.
  • Gathers information on business processes and system configuration/ customization and provides recommendations to achieve required business results.
  • Promotes proactive approaches using the company's HRIS to solve business needs/problems, while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the HRIS capabilities.
  • Develops training materials and delivers system training and support to HR staff and end users on HRIS functionality.
  • Supports both HR and the business in the navigation of self-service applications.
  • Assists in the change process to ensure business requirements are being addressed through Oracle Cloud HCM systems and processes.
  • Maintains awareness of vendor product enhancements/ roadmaps and the potential impact of those plans on current and future functionality.

Qualifications:

  • Required:  Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar area of study and two (2) years previous experience. 
  • Preferred:  Five years previous experience as an HRIS analyst and/or HR analyst.
  • Analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Ability to organize information and develop meaningful communication materials
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM Platform including Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent Management preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, data structures and processes; Experience with Oracle Fusion preferred.
  • Ability to think critically, multi-task, manage priorities, and excellent follow through required.
  • Must be solutions-oriented and have exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Continually assess existing programs and practices to streamline and reduce manual administrative tasks. 
  • Provides guidance, consulting, and learning development expertise throughout the organization. 
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize change management techniques in a variety of different situations. 
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize systems and data to analyze and solve HR related business problems. 
  • Strong work ethic, results-focused, detail-oriented and proactive.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions consistent with the essential job functions and company policies.
  • Results driven and able to build consensus by understanding the concerns and needs of others and how to realistically manage expectations.
