General Summary of Job Responsibilities
The Resource Planner is responsible for creating and communicating a balanced monthly resource and workload Work Plan that meets business objectives and performance targets. The resource planner provides plan information that is used to develop a predictable schedule and financial performance. This position is responsible for identifying and escalating any resource gaps within the assigned business unit. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders including engineering, operations, finance, and supply chain in order to develop accurate workplans and ensure delivery of those workplans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform resource planning function for assigned business unit.
- Forecasting, scheduling and aligning resources with work.
- Partner with managers and peers as well as cross-functional stakeholders to create, maintain and leverage best practices and strategy optimization.
- May own or lead projects for the business unit.
- Monitor, report, and provide analysis and feedback on key performance indicators.

- Demonstrated experience in real-time service level management, forecasting staffing needs, and scheduling, providing to stakeholders for making operational decisions.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Communications or related and 2+ years of experience working in a call center or applicable business environment that utilize resource planning, applications, and methodologies. Also, experience with the monitoring of systems and real-time data analysis. [OR]
- Associates degree in Business, Engineering, Communications or related and 4+ years of experience working in a call center or applicable business environment that utilize resource planning, applications, and methodologies. Also, experience with the monitoring of systems and real-time data analysis. [OR]
- High school diploma and 6+ years of experience working in a call center or applicable business environment that utilize resource planning, applications, and methodologies. Also, experience with the monitoring of systems and real-time data analysis
