Your role in our success will be:
This position carries the responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating various projects valued between $1-10M associated with gas distribution and transmission. Organizes multi-disciplinary teams through project lifecycles consisting of project creation, budgeting, monitoring, and making adjustments when required.
What you'll be working on:
- Leads, with supervision, multi-disciplinary project teams; accountable for planning, coordinating, directing and controlling various gas distribution and transmission construction projects valued at $1-10M

With support of seasoned PMs, monitors project progress according to established timelines, recommends budget adjustments when necessary, and meets with contractors weekly.
- Assists with the development of Gantt charts and briefs business unit leadership monthly on progress toward timeline and budget milestones.
- Monitors the project activities to ensure alignment with all State, Federal and Company safety requirements
- Applies technical knowledge and project management skills to address unforeseen issues or concerns with the project and takes action to resolve
- General understanding of external regulations and requirements
- Assist with selection, review of contractor progress
- Conducts project meetings to review progress, provide updates and identify risks
Who you are:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Project Management
- Work Experience: 0-3 years, internship preferred
- Drivers' License (type): Driver License Required
- Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions.
- Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on a short-term basis (day-to-day, week-to-week)

Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and to verbally communicate technical information.

Ability to communicate with customers utilizing the telephone.

Ability to make informal presentations, inside and/or outside the organization. Speaking before groups.

Ability to compose materials such as detailed reports, work-related manuals, and make presentations outside the immediate work area.
