Summary

The Application Administrator Manager for the AMI Systems Support team, also known as M-Team, is looking for an Application Administrator Manager to lead a team of high-performing and fun-loving administratorsThis team collaborates with clients, vendors, and various IT departments to maintain highly available, critical metering applications and integrations. These applications communicate with meters at SRP customers' homes and businesses. The team supports credit and prepay meters remote operations and delivers meter data to client applications for customer orders, billing, customer presentation, reporting, and troubleshooting.

As an AMI Systems Support Manager, you will develop your team, learn about and implement new metering technologies, work on network mysteries, facilitate writing and running test plans, analyze data, create and update documentation, manage Windows and Linux servers, and collaborate on cross-departmental project teams to deliver innovative solutions and technologies. You will thrive/succeed in this role if you have strong communication skills, curiosity, and the ability to think critically and solve problems.

What You'll Do

    You will lead a team that supports metering head-end systems and related applications. 
    Focus on customer service while guiding the team in installing, configuring, and testing critical, high-availability applications.
    Review, monitor, analyze, and evaluate technology and operations while facilitating end-user support. 
    Plan roadmaps for enhancements, updates, and projects.
    Collaborate with internal business groups and maintain communication on enhancements, new technologies, implementations, upgrades, and other improvements
    Communicate upgrades and production issues with internal business groups.
    Coordinate with internal IT departments, including Networking, Server, Database, and Desktop, to support vendor applications and fulfill business needs.
    Serve as subject matter expert, providing insights for strategic decisions.
    Provides strategic visioning for all aspects of application and project lifecycle, including:
        Requirements gathering 
        Test plan and test case management 
        Test environment management 
        Defect management 
        Implementation planning 
        Production support 
    Leads technical troubleshooting for supported applications.
    Work with vendors to identify and resolve software issues and implement appropriate fixes. 
    Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that high-priority items are assigned to application releases and maintain tracking.
    Define and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
    Works closely with ITS staff and user community to resolve issues and provide assistance.
    Provides leadership and direction to the team.
    Foster a diverse and inclusive team and work environment.
    Directs personnel, administers performance feedback, and manages workload across the team.
    Create an inclusive team environment and promote healthy collaboration. 
    Delegates tasks and prioritizes work effectively.
    Facilitates employee development.
    Manage staff and team activities.
