Onsite are roles that have specific onsite requirements and are typically onsite daily.

Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.

Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary

The Work Week Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing IT incident response, maintenance operations and change activities across the organization. The role will report to the Manager of IT Operations. 
The Work Week Manager works within IT along with line of business teams to ensure minimal disruption to business operations while maximizing system uptime and performance. In this role a successful candidate will be exposed to all areas of the IT organization and work closely with support teams and the business to deliver operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

Operate with limited oversight from managers, applying advanced knowledge to practice
Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security and efficiency of IT operations
Coordinate and manage IT projects, changes, and business as usual work while ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
Support root cause analysis and the human performance program
Identify and implement enhancements for infrastructure and application monitoring and alerting systems
Lead, mentor, and develop IT operations staff to enhance technical capabilities and responsiveness.
Work closely with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to align IT initiatives with utility service goals.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent with 8 years of relevant work experience. In lieu of a bachelors degree or equivalent, 12 years of relevant work experience
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems
Knowledge of network, server, and database technologies
Familiarity with ITIL and other IT service management frameworks
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Ability to lead and manage major incident responses
Proven ability to influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures

Prior utility experience
Experience with IT service management tools and processes
Strong understanding of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
