What You'll Do:
Buy and sell energy in the hourly power market to balance the system.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to maximize value.
Forecast energy demand and coordinate with System Operators.
Dispatch power efficiently while ensuring system reliability.
Manage fuel and transmission needs for real-time operations.
Track transactions and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with trading partners.
What You'll Need:
A technical degree (engineering, economics, finance, etc.) or 2+ years in wholesale power and/or gas markets.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks quickly.
Excellent communication skills for working with industry counterparts and internal teams.
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.

Availability to work a rotating 24-hour schedule that will require shift coverage on both nights and weekends.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Power BI is a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in energy trading or system operations.
Familiarity with NERC, FERC, and SERC compliance regulations.
