Job Summary
Responsible for day-to-day office operations including weekly payroll, accounts receivable, billing, traffic scheduling and tracing, inventories, accounts payable, scale operations and associated paperwork, phones and other related office duties.

What you will do
- Performs payroll processing duties, including auditing, reconciling, processing, and reporting.
- Develops and processes accounts receivable bills. Tracks contract pricing and invoices customers. Performs appropriate follow up and collection activities.
- Facilities payments to vendors and employees, and performs related accounts payable functions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Provides basic support on information technology and telecommunications functions. Operates watering systems and facility security cameras. Tracks, updates and corrects product inventories.
- Follows inbound traffic (barges, rail cars, trains, trucks) and keeps designated personnel informed as required. Performs duties related to the placement and release of transportation equipment, tracking information, and generating invoices.
- Performs general administrative duties as required, including filing, phone work, scheduling, processing and distributing information, and assisting other personnel in office-related work.
Education Requirements
- Associate Degree Emphasis in administrative support or related area Preferred
Required Experience
- 3 years of related experience
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working in a WMS software platform
- Previous experience working in a warehouse operation/facility
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent knowledge of payroll processes and procedures preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, including payable and receivable processes.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated effective planning and organizational skills; ability to handle confidential matters discreetly.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet) and adding machines.
