This role is being created to support the Grade Level 30 managers in Business Customer Solutions (BCS) responsible for large managed accounts. The Territory Manager for the Managed Customer area within BCS will have MAST Grade Level 27-28 direct reports, who have responsibilities of Customer Relationship Managemnet of our largest and most influential business customers. The position will be responsible for internal coordination and collaboration with the various Customer Care business areas, Electric Ops and Gas Ops, Renewables & Energy SOlutions, Asset Management, Rates & Regulatory, Legal, and RES, among other areas. Additionally, these roles will be externally facing with our largest and most influential customers in PSE&G's service territory.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and develop MAST associates ranging from Grade Levels 27-28. Performance ratings, development discussions, and leadership development
- Ensuring the success of performance metrics relative to the organization (i.e. program participation, executive meetings, customer experience metrics - large customer listening posts, achievement of capital & O&M targets)
- Resolution of escalated customer issues/concerns. Customer Account Management for a smaller subset of a high priority accounts
- Serve as backup to GL 30 manager. Develop and implement strategy for business area as well as strategic initiatives annually. Support daily activities related to budgeting, planning, personnel, and Human Resource issues
- Position maintains internal relationships with operating departments to effectively advocate for customers as a trusted energy advisor and leader
Job Specific Qualifications
Required
- BS/BA plus 7 years' work experience or, in lieu of a degree, 10 years' related business experience.
- Greater than seven years of experience in utility operations, generation and/or engineering
- Must have valid U.S. driver's license and safe driving history
- Knowledge of Industrial and Commercial account management experience, including regulatory and tariff knowledge.
- Must have strong leadership qualities and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to be self-directed and work independently

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce
- Certified Energy Manager Qualification
