Spire is seeking an Administrator, Field Operations to work in St. Louis, MO. This position will be responsible for assisting the Managers of Field Operations in overseeing and coordinating various field operations work including construction, maintenance, pipeline, service, operational training when required, and assisting the management administration of company policy, procedures, and coordinating the daily operation of the Region.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Field Operations Manager in the preparation and implementation of the department's business plan for the current and upcoming fiscal years
- Assist Manager with monitoring and managing departmental capital and O&M expenditures, to meet annual corporate financial goals and initiatives.
- Monitor employee performance to ensure job performance levels are in line with business unit objectives
- Ensure employee timesheets, expense reports, and other routine submissions are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate and oversee employee development, system testing, and operational training.
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of plans to attain departmental goals.
- Assist in the management of employee issues, including assisting in the grievance procedure, filling temporary and permanent job vacancies, and disciplining employees.
- Review and complete various types of paperwork, such as absence reports, safety reports, and weekly manpower reports, etc.
- Supervise, manage, and develop supervisors and employees to further their skills, efficiency, performance, and judgment.
- Perform field checks to ensure employees are following company safety, standards and procedures during the work shift
- Monitor employees' schedules, including vacation schedules, on a daily and weekly basis to ensure sufficient manpower to complete scheduled jobs to ensure compliance work is completed on time
- Lead and assist with special project activities as assigned.
- Review and approve material requisitions
- Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that work is completed in the most efficient manner possible
- Review completed work, including closing out work orders, checking compliance mandates, and ensuring that follow up maintenance work is scheduled and completed as required. Notify Manager of the department if compliance schedules are not being met.
- Oversee the implementation of plans to ensure the health and safety of all employees in the region
- Prepare and coordinate all safety activities for the region
- All other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Responsible for direct management of multiple supervisors and up to 100 contract employees in conducting safe, highest quality, and compliant installation.
- It is the responsibility of the Administrator to support and develop their management team in order to improve their level of leadership skills to ensure the safe operation of the distribution system and to continually improve the level of customer service that we provide.
- Responsible for continually motivating the members of the team to improve the level of safety awareness to achieve success with all the business unit and corporate safety goals and initiatives.

Required Education (certifications, licenses)
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- 5 years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred
- 5 years of field experience in the performance of physical duties or close supervision of those duties, preferred.
- 3 years as Construction, Maintenance, Service, Engineering, or P&M Supervisor, preferred.
- Knowledge of the policies, procedures, standards and OQ requirements.
- Knowledge of human resources, collective bargaining agreement and personnel procedures.
- Valid Missouri Class E License required or the issuing state's equivalent and the ability to drive safely and accident free.
Required knowledge, skill and abilities
- Knowledge of the Missouri Distribution Service and Construction and Maintenance Manual, standards, and OQ requirements.
- Knowledge of human resources, collective bargaining agreement and personnel procedures.
