Summary

The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager will streamline all hiring processes, track talent analytics (at the individual and team level), monitor candidate & hiring manager experience metrics, and empower the team to make data-driven recruiting decisions that lead to better output in the short and long term. This position will ensure that SRP's recruiting operations serves as a trusted, accessible resource for the team and organization.

The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager will be responsible for equipping the team with the most effective tools to approach the hiring and onboarding processes. This role will partner with cross-functional partners/teams including HRBPs, Comp, HROps, Shared Services, Talent Development, Health Services, Strategic Workforce Planning, HR Managers, etc.  

This person will directly lead a team of TA Partners, TA Coordinators, and TA Support Coordinators and help evolve each of those functions. Manages others by setting goals, assessing performance, providing training, and applying operational or strategic Leader skills to achieve objectives. Reporting to the TA Sr. Manager, this role will be a working manager responsible for various aspects of day-to-day TA Operations, along with other duties as assigned. 

What You'll Do

  • Own, drive, and evolve TA analytics, reporting, dashboards, etc. 
  • Use critical thinking, identify opportunities to optimize, maintain, evolve, and ensure continuous improvement throughout all TA systems, tools, trainings, programs, and processes 
  • Update and manage the TA functions within SuccessFactors and other related SRP/TA tools focusing on operations, performance, compliance, all while ensuring data quality
  • Own TA systems/tools, process, and best practices documentation including maintaining internal databases, etc. 
  • Ensure SRP's TA Operations are up to date with market trends, tooling, best practices, compliance, etc. 
  • Identifies and communicates opportunities to improve and standardize processes. Addresses process breakdowns proactively, efficiently and thoroughly 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, thought leader and consultant to SRP's HRBP's, business leaders, and key stakeholders 
  • Drive a long-term TA strategy that supports our hourly/union workforce ensuring compliance within the union contract 
  • Manage ongoing TA vendor relationships (e.g. LinkedIn, Handshake, SHL, indeed, Graebel, etc.) attend regular check-in's, assess value, negotiate contracts, report building, etc. 
  • Oversee (from a management level) the MSP relationship with Populus Group, supporting the TA teams dedicated partner to the MSP 
  • Manage a team of Talent Acquisition partners, coordinators, and administrative support coordinators, providing performance feedback, coaching, and mentoring 
  • Manage others by setting goals, assessing performance, providing training, and applying operational or strategic Leader skills to achieve objectives 
  • Fosters open communication & builds engagement with team as well as stakeholders 
  • This role will be a working manager responsible for various day-to-day aspects of TA Operations as well as own or participate in various projects within TA and across the organization 
  • Other duties as assigned 

What It Takes To Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field  
  • HR Certification is preferred 
  • 5+ years of experience in leading TA Operations with a focus on: 
    • Operational & performance metrics 
    • Modeling & forecasting (e.g. hiring demand forecasting, recruiting capacity modeling, interviewer capacity modeling, etc.) 
    • Managing TA tools and processes across all recruiting channels 
  • 5+ years leading teams (development, performance management, etc.) 
  • Experience managing teams through change is highly preferred 
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal), presenting, influencing and negotiation skills  
  • Strong project management, analytical and critical thinking skills  
  • Experience presenting to key stakeholders and senior leadership is required 
  • Proven ability to analyze information to find trends and diagnose problem areas 
  • Experience with training and change management 
  • Proven experience managing complex projects/programs 
  • Advanced using MS Office products: high focus on PowerPoint and Excel  

Experience

Minimum of 7 years cumulative and progressive exempt level professional experience.

Education

Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.
